Friendly Conversation

Coaching and mentoring both exist for the same purpose: helping others grow, develop and reach their full potential. Both coaching and mentoring give the opportunity for individuals to take responsibility for their own spiritual and financial development.

A mentor is someone who shares their knowledge, skills and/or experience, to help another to develop and grow.

A coach is someone who provides guidance to a client on their goals and helps them reach their full potential.

Mentoring looks at the future and at potential to develop talents; coaching looks at the present and how to improve to a future state and is more focused on developing skills.

A mentor will take a holistic view of your life and ministry whereas a coach will focus on specific issues and areas of financial development.

Compass does not offer specific advice on investments. However we could recommend Christian financial advisors where needed.
