The Founder
Peter J. Briscoe is the founder of Compass – finances God's way Europe, a ministry committed to helping people discover and live out biblical principles of stewardship, generosity, and financial discipleship. Through his vision and leadership, Compass Europe has grown into a network that serves churches, ministries, and individuals across the continent with practical tools for managing money according to God’s Word.
Originally from England, Peter studied Industrial Chemistry and Management at Loughborough University before building a successful international career in business. Living and working in Europe for many years gave him a deep understanding of the challenges people face in balancing faith, finances, and daily life.
Through his own journey of faith and experience in leadership, Peter became convinced that financial stewardship is a vital part of Christian discipleship. This conviction led him to establish Compass – finances God's way Europe in 2012, with the aim of bringing clear, practical, and biblically grounded teaching on money to individuals, small groups, churches, and workplaces throughout Europe.
Under his leadership, Compass Europe has helped thousands of people grow in financial wisdom, generosity, and freedom through courses, resources, and mentoring. The ministry continues to expand across European countries, equipping believers to honor God with their finances and to live lives marked by faithful stewardship.
Peter lives in the Netherlands with his wife, Didie. They have been married since 1972 and have three daughters and several grandchildren.
