Dr. Jerry Root is Professor of Evangelism and Leadership at Wheaton College and Director of the Evangelism Initiative. A noted C.S. Lewis scholar, he has authored or co-authored several books, including The Surprising Imagination of C.S. Lewis and The Soul of C.S. Lewis. Jerry has taught for over three decades at Wheaton and Biola University, inspiring countless students and leaders to pursue Christ wholeheartedly. He and his wife, Claudia, have four grown children and thirteen grandchildren.
